Fusible interlining can make fabrics stiffer, adding three-dimensionality and shape to clothing. For example, using fusible interlining on the collar, shoulders and chest of a suit can make the suit's outline clearer and more suitable for wearing.

It can enhance the stability of the fabric and prevent the fabric from deforming. For some light and thin fabrics, such as silk, chiffon, etc., the fusible interlining can provide additional support, making it less likely to deform during wearing and washing.

Compared with traditional sewing interlining, the use of fusible interlining is more convenient and quicker, which can greatly simplify the process of garment processing. The fusible interlining is bonded to the fabric by heating and pressurizing, which reduces the workload of sewing.
Too high a temperature and too long a time will damage the fabric and the fusible interlining, while too low a temperature and too short a time will result in a loose bond. Therefore, when using the fusible interlining, the temperature and time must be strictly controlled according to the requirements in the instructions.
According to the size and shape of the garment, cut the fusible interlining into the corresponding size and shape. Note that it should be slightly smaller than the fabric to avoid glue overflow during the bonding process.
Place the cut fusible interlining on the reverse side of the fabric and use an iron or a fusing machine to bond it at appropriate temperature and pressure. During the bonding process, pay attention to controlling the temperature and time to avoid damaging the fabric or the fusible interlining.
