Adhesive interlining is also called hot-melt interlining. It is a special auxiliary material for the inner layer of clothing, shoes and hats to strengthen and increase elasticity, and make clothing crisp. Consists of base fabric and hot melt adhesive. The base fabric is generally a thin nonwoven fabric made by saturated impregnation or hot rolling with chemical adhesives; the types of hot melt adhesives include polyethylene, copolyamide, copolyester, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, etc. The methods of applying hot melt adhesive to the base cloth generally include powder removal method, powder point method and paste point method. Fiber raw materials, types of hot melt adhesives and their application methods are selected according to the types of fabric fibers and the position of the fusible interlining in the garment. The price of non-woven fusible interlining is low, the shrinkage rate is small, and it is easy to use. It is mainly used for the front of the jacket, and can also be used for partial bonding of the placket, collar, cuffs, pockets, etc. In addition to being used for woven fabric garments, it can also be used for knitted silk garments.
